ANKARA - Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with his Lebanese counterpart Fouad Siniora today.
According to Turkish Prime Ministry Press Center, Siniora called Erdogan in the afternoon on Friday.
''I am calling you to thank for your speech delivered at the recent OIC meeting, helping my declaration of a peace plan with seven articles to be included in the final statement of OIC and your leadership in search of peace in the Middle East,'' said Siniora.
Erdogan, in return, stated that diplomatic efforts for an urgent cease-fire will continue. ''We will keep working with you,'' noted Erdogan.
