ISTANBUL/ANKARA - Turkish nongovernmental organizations protested Israel due to its attacks on Palestine and Lebanon during demonstrations in Istanbul, capital Ankara, western city of Izmir and southern city of Adana on Thursday.
A group from Anadolu Youth Foundation held a demonstration in Cemberlitas district of Istanbul, carrying Palestinian flags and pictures of children who were killed in Israeli attacks.
On the other hand, a group gathered in front of Israeli Embassy in Ankara and laid a black wreath there. Group members carried banners and chanted anti-Israeli slogans.
