VAN - One judge (Ferhat Erbas) withdrew from Semdinli case today on the ground that he can not be neutral.
Terrorist organization PKK confessor Veysel Ates, one of suspects of the case, appeared before (eastern city) Van court during today's hearing of the Semdinli case.
Veysel Ates who was arrested on charges of being involved in bombing of a bookstore in Semdinli town of southeastern city of Hakkari on November 9th, 2005 appeared before the court for the fifth time today.
On the other hand, Van court adjourned the hearing to August 24th.
On November 9th, 2005, a hand grenade was hurled into a bookstore, that belongs to Seferi Yilmaz, in Semdinli, killing a person. The Semdinli attack set off days of rioting that left four dead.
