NEW YORK - Foreign Ministers of D-8 convened on Sunday in New York.
Foreign Ministers of Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, and Pakistan as well as Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul participated in the meeting.
Foreign Ministers reviewed results of Cairo Summit held in 2001, and focused on cooperation facilities on agriculture, industry, trade, finance, banking and improvement of rural areas.
The ministers also discussed preparations for the summit that would take place in Tehran in 2004.
Gul, who made a brief statement at the meeting, proposed improvement of cooperation.
