BALIKESIR - Turkish gendarmery arrested 74 illegal migrants in Marmara city of Balikesir, sources said on Tuesday.
Gendarmery, acting on a tip off that a truck was carrying illegal migrants, stopped the truck and intercepted the illegal migrants.
Illegal migrants of 27 Bangladeshi, 27 Iraqi, 4 Palestinian, and 16 Mauritanian origin were arrested.
The illegal migrants will be deported following legal proceedings.
