ANKARA - Turkey's first observation satellite (BILSAT), could not be launched on Friday.
TUBITAK BILTEN Director Prof. Dr. Erol Kocaoglan told A.A correspondent on Friday that BILSAT satellite was earlier scheduled to be launched at 9.09 a.m. on September 26, but it could not be launched due to failure in fuel filling system and launching pad in Plesetsk base in Russia.
BILSAT which was produced with technology transfer by Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Council (TUBITAK) Information Technologies and Electronics Research Institute (BILTEN) will be launched at 9.09 a.m. on Saturday.
