BOZUYUK - Five people, including one German tourist, were injured as three cars of a train named ''Baskent Ekspresi'' derailed near Bozuyuk town of Bilecik province on Friday.
The train which was en route from Istanbul to Ankara derailed near Ayvali-Karakoy around 1.30 p.m.
German tourist Dieder Kutscher, 60, Ayten Celiker, 51, Ulviye Barlas, 83, Fatma Gundur, 48, and Yalcin Togcu, 60, were injured in the accident.
Ayten Celiker, who is suffering from serious injuries, was hospitalized in Eskisehir province while the other four injured were taken under treatment in Bozuyuk.
Around 80 passengers on the train got on other trains and buses.
Efforts are under way to re-open the railway to traffic.
