ANKARA - Hungarian Minister of the Interior Monika Lamperth said on Thursday that they considered PKK a terrorist organization.
After chairing meeting between Turkish and Hungarian delegations together with Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu, Lamperth said that they would have a more efficient fight against terrorist organization PKK.
Recalling that her country would become a European Union (EU) full member in May 2004, Lamperth noted that Hungary underwent a difficult process when trying to adjust to the EU and stated that they were ready to share their experiences with Turkey.
Lamperth said that Turkey was more experienced than her country in fight against terrorism and illicit drug and human trafficking, adding that they wanted to make use of Turkey's experiences.
Stressing that they considered PKK a terrorist organization and would have a more efficient fight against it, Lamperth expressed belief that there would be a closer cooperation between two countries as a result of that.
When a reporter recalled that the terrorist organization PKK changed its name as KADEK and asked if they would assume the same attitude towards KADEK, Lamperth said that they would assume a common approach with the EU towards KADEK.
