EDIRNE - Turkish security teams arrested 165 illegal migrants in northwestern city of Edirne, sources said on Monday.
Gendarmery and police intercepted illegal migrants of Pakistani, Iraq, Tunisian, Greek, Palestinian, Georgian, and Albanian origin in road controls.
Meanwhile, gendarmery teams arrested illegal migrants of 20 Iraqi, 3 Lebanese and 1 Bangladeshi origin in Karaburun town of Aegean city of Izmir.
The illegal migrants will be deported following legal proceedings.
