ANKARA - Turkish General Staff denied news reports alleging the existence of a plan aiming to disarm separatist terrorist organization (PKK) and on which high-ranking executives agreed. According to press reports the plan envisages to exile PKK leaders (actually based in northern Iraq) in some European countries (which are ready to accept them) and the relocation (within Turkey) of PKK members who are not involved in terrorist attacks.
Releasing a statement, General Staff noted, ''news reports published in some Turkish dailies claimed that there is a plan on which high-ranking Turkish authorities reached an agreement to disarm separatist terrorist organization members. Those reports are not true.''
