ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan talked Lebanese Premier Fuad Siniora on the phone Sunday night, expressing sorrow over Israeli attack on Lebanese Qana town.
Noting that UN Security Council should urge for a cease-fire, Erdogan said, ''we will discuss the issue at the meeting of Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).''
Erdogan also welcomed the ''Peace Plan'' which Siniora had made public last week.
Lebanese Premier Siniora thanked Erdogan for his efforts.
An Israeli airstrike killed at least 56 civilians, most of them women and children, in the southern Lebanese town of Qana yesterday.
