ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 715.9 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 48 quadrillion 308.9 trillion TL between September 5 and 12, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 47 quadrillion 593 trillion TL on September 5.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 830.7 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 650.3 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 166.3 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 41 quadrillion 288.5 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 372.9 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
