ANKARA - Environment and Forestry Minister Osman Pepe returned home on Thursday from Canada where he attended the 12th World Forestry Congress.
Speaking to reporters at Ankara's Esenboga Airport, Pepe said that Turkey was one of the major countries in forestry policies.
Pepe said that he informed ministers, scientists and leaders of NGOs about Turkey's policies on forestry in meetings in Canada.
Stating that he had a bilateral meeting with Canadian Natural Resources Minister, Pepe added that he also came together with representatives of Turkish society in Canada.
