ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 83 million U.S. dollars between September 12 and 19, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 31 billion 385 million U.S. dollars on September 12, increased to 31 billion 468 million U.S. dollars on September 19.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 354 million U.S. dollars from 10 billion 932 million U.S. dollars to 11 billion 286 million U.S. dollars between August 29 and September 5.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 379 million U.S. dollars from 41 billion 974 million U.S. dollars to 42 billion 353 million U.S. dollars between August 29 and September 5.
