ISTANBUL - Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer met Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, who is currently in Istanbul ahead of inauguration of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline to be held in southern city of Adana.
On the other hand, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a meeting with British Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott.
BTC oil pipeline, which is considered one of the most important projects of the 21st century, will be officially inaugurated tomorrow.
Besides ministers from 32 countries, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Saakashvili, Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Prescott will be in attendance at the inauguration ceremony which will be hosted by Sezer and Erdogan.
