ANKARA - The 21st meeting of Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee will be held in central Anatolian city of Kayseri between July 13th and 14th, the Union of Turkish Chambers & Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) said on Wednesday.
The committee, which was established in November 1995, gathers economic and social circles of the EU and Turkey. The committee has 36 members from Turkey and European Economic & Social Committee.
The meeting will be attended also by Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul and Turkish State Minister & Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan.
Participants will discuss Turkey-EU relations, dialogue between non-governmental organizations, EU negotiation process and participation of NGOs, women in business life, visa procedures and economic developments in Turkey within the scope of Lisbon process.
