ANKARA - Turkey continues its efforts to end the Israeli-Palestinian tension, diplomatic sources said on Tuesday.
According to diplomatic sources, Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul spoke to his Israeli counterpart Tzipi Livni by phone twice.
They indicated that these phone talks were a part of Turkey's diplomacy to normalize the situation in the Middle East.
Turkey will do everything to ease this tension, and thinks that escalation of tension will be no use to anybody, added the same sources.
