Tatarstan Petroleum Company Will Participate In Tender For Privatization Of Tupras

ANTALYA - President Mintimer Shaymiyev of Tatarstan said on Wednesday that Tatarstan petroleum company would also participate in the privatization tender of TUPRAS.
Shaymiyev who came to Antalya to spend holiday told reporters that sale of oil to Turkey increased in the last few years.
Stating that they planned to make investments in oil field with Turkey, Shaymiyev said that Tatarstan petroleum company would also participate in the privatization tender of TUPRAS.
Recalling that Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan visited Tatarstan between August 28-30, 2003, Shaymiyev said that he and Unakitan held some meetings to further improve economic relations between the two countries.
Shaymiyev said that Turkish construction companies made very important businesses in Tatarstan recently and stated that they would invite Turkish construction companies which worked in Russia to Tatarstan.
