NEW YORK - Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said on Monday that instability in Iraq would effect Turkey negatively.
Gul replied questions of audience after delivering a speech at dinner hosted by American Turkish Association in his honor.
When asked about dispatch of soldiers to Iraq, Gul reminded the audiences that Turkey had asked several questions to the United States two weeks ago, noting that, ''we will get replies of the questions nowadays and we will make our decision after that.''
Gul said Iraq people suffered a lot, and that time came to put an end to those sufferings.
Gul stressed that Turkey envisaged dispatch of soldiers to Iraq as an element of the political solution in Iraq, and noted that evaluations continued in government on the issue.
FM Gul stated that, ''when the government makes its decision, it will present it to the Parliament, and I think the Parliament will not reject it.''
