Second Tour Of Turkey - U.S. Negotiations On Elimination Of Pkk/kadek Terrorist Organization From North Of Iraq To Be Held Next Week

ANKARA - Second tour of Turkey-U.S. negotiations on eradication of PKK/KADEK terrorist organization from the north of Iraq will be held in Ankara next week.
A U.S. delegation headed by Cofer Black, U.S. State Department Coordinator for Counterterrorism, will hold meetings in Ankara between October 1 and 2.
Sides had reached a consensus on an ''action plan'' to eradicate PKK/KADEK terrorist organization from the north of Iraq during the first leg of negotiations held at Ankara Palace on September 12.
U.S. delegation was headed by Lynn Pascoe and Turkish delegation was chaired by Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Nabi Sensoy in the negotiations. Turkish delegation will be headed by Sensoy in the negotiations that will be held next week.
Ankara's sensitivity on the issue of terrorism, its expectations regarding reassociation law and the possibility of terrorists to leak into neighbor countries were taken up in the first meeting and two countries had confirmed their determination on fight against terrorism and they had determined certain paths to be followed on cooperation in this issue.
