Constitutional Court Chairman Bumin Meets With Turkish Judge In Echr

STRASBOURG - Constitutional Court Chairman Mustafa Bumin met on Monday with Riza Turmen, Turkish judge in European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
Turmen informed Bumin and six members of the Constitutional Court about initiatives of ECHR.
General structure of applications from Turkey to ECHR were mainly debated in the meeting.
Political party closure cases also came onto agenda in the meeting.
Bumin and accompanying delegation will later meet with Turkish lawyers in ECHR and officials of department which deals with applications from Turkey.
The delegation headed by Bumin will meet with ECHR President Lozius Wildhaber on Tuesday.
Bumin and accompanying delegation will depart from Strasbourg on Wednesday after meeting with officials of human rights and legal departments of Council of Europe.
