AH- General Staff announced that, a Turkish Liaison Team was sent to the highest U.S. headquarters in Baghdad to keep the coordination between the Turkish and U.S. troops, which are charged in the north of Iraq.
According to the statement: “Turkish and U.S officials came to the mutual agreement about sending a Turkish liaison team including two officers and two noncommissioned officers to the highest U.S. headquarters deployed in Baghdad in order to keep required coordination between the activities of the troops of two allied countries. Turkish liaison team moved to the duty region in September 21, 2003 completing all required preparations.”
