ISTANBUL - National Education Minister Huseyin Celik returned from his visit to Germany and Italy to Turkey on Saturday.
Celik told reporters that he attended a meeting organized by Microsoft in Rome and received important information about e-state and use of technology in education.
He attended meeting on ''Bologna Process'' in Berlin, Celik said.
Celik noted that important decisions were taken in the meeting in Italy which confirmed the process launched in Sorbonne, adding that the declaration released after the meeting emphasized social dimension of higher education.
The European Union (EU) Commission and Council announced that they extended full support to the declaration, Celik said.
Celik noted that they stressed that countries should agree on democratic values, preserve cultural diversity, cooperate in universities, and reflect their cooperation in education and training.
Participants stressed that quality system among European universities should be formed till 2005, Celik stated.
Celik added that all universities side to the declaration would be included to the integration in 2010.
