BRUSSELS - A detailed screening began between the EU and Turkey on the 18th chapter heading of ''statistics'' in Brussels on Monday.
Statistics methodology and classification, statistics terminology, customs tariffs, access to secret statistics data for scientific purposes and preparation of agriculture and fishery statistics are among the topics to be discussed during the meetings.
Turkey has completed explanatory screening meetings on 28 chapter headings and detailed screening meetings on 23 chapter headings so far.
