General Elections To Be Held On Dec. 14 In Northern Cyprus

LEFKOSA - General elections which are held once in every five years in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), will be held on December 14, Sunday with the decision taken by TRNC Higher Board of Election (YSK) on Thursday.
YSK Chairman Taner Erginel said that YSK determined the election date due to the law on elections and referendum and that the decision would be submitted to the government.
Election bans which start two months prior to the elections will go into force on October 14.
