IZMIR - Turkish police arrested 60 illegal migrants in Urla town of Aegean city of Izmir, sources said on Saturday.
According to sources, police stopped two minivans on Izmir-Cesme highway, and detained 60 illegal migrants of Somalian, Mauritanian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi origin.
The drivers of two minivans were also taken into custody.
The illegal migrants will be deported once legal proceedings are completed.
