Gul Receives New Chairman Of Directorate Of Human Rights Bicak

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul received on Thursday Vahit Bicak, the new Chairman of Directorate of Human Rights of Prime Ministry.
Gul said that the government attributed very much importance to human rights in the European Union (EU) process and this department would function more actively.
Gul said, ''our target in Turkey is to catch the standards of human rights in modern countries. Human rights standard in modern countries will certainly be caught in Turkey.''
