ANTALYA - Armenian Deputy Culture Minister Karen Arisakesyan said on Thursday that bad incidents which occurred in the past should be forgotten.
The Stage Project: Third Ministerial Colloquy started in southern Antalya province. The Council of Europe's (COE) colloquy will continue till September 20 at Antalya's Talya Hotel.
Speaking in the meeting, Arisakesyan said that cooperation of intellectuals and technicians would be very beneficial for prevention of disputes and improvement of cultural dialogue.
Arisakesyan noted that preservation and maintenance of good neighborly relations could be possible if nations understood each other and everybody should exert efforts to reach that target.
Stating that nations should establish friendly relations, Arisakesyan said that they should forget bad incidents that occurred in the past.
Arisakesyan stated that they could eliminate historical problems and understand cultural heritage of their neighbors that way.
Pointing out that they could propose their neighbors to make more respected statements about each other, Arisakesyan said that they could prevent them from making statements which were based on some claims because they knew well about each other, they knew well about their culture.
Arisakesyan noted that Armenia attached great importance to cultural cooperation, adding that Armenia had many times proved its determination and will to improve cultural cooperation.
