ANKARA - Banks' credit volume decreased 45.5 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 47 quadrillion 593 trillion TL between August 29 and September 5, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 47 quadrillion 638.7 trillion TL on August 29.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 774.7 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 643.8 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 166.6 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 40 quadrillion 664 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 344 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
