Securities Account At Banks Decreases By 378.8 Trillion Tl

ANKARA - The securities account at banks decreased 378.8 trillion Turkish Liras (TL) to 43 quadrillion 105.6 trillion TL on September 5, 2003.
The total securities account at banks was 43 quadrillion 484.4 trillion TL on August 29.
The Central Bank data show that there were a total of 41 quadrillion 534.7 trillion TL of securities including 24 quadrillion 585.3 trillion TL of securities and 16 quadrillion 949.4 trillion TL of securities over foreign currency in the deposit banks portfolio.
The securities over TL at deposit banks are composed of 3 quadrillion 805.2 trillion TL in treasury bonds, 20 quadrillion 286.4 trillion TL in state debenture bonds and 445.3 trillion TL in stocks.
A total of 865.5 trillion TL of foreign currency securities at these banks are abroad while there is a total of 16 quadrillion 823.8 trillion TL of state debenture bonds among the domestic securities.
The total securities account at the development and investment banks was 701.8 trillion TL.
