ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 1 billion 598 million U.S. dollars between September 5 and 12, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 29 billion 787 million U.S. dollars on September 5, increased to 31 billion 385 million U.S. dollars on September 12.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations decreased 32 million U.S. dollars from 10 billion 964 million U.S. dollars to 10 billion 932 million U.S. dollars between August 22 and 29.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 20 million U.S. dollars from 41 billion 954 million U.S. dollars to 41 billion 974 million U.S. dollars between August 22 and 29.
