Gul Due In New York

NEW YORK - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul will represent Turkey in the General Assembly of the United Nations (U.N.) which will start on September 23.
Foreign Minister Gul is expected to come to New York this weekend.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Thursday that Gul would have bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of more than 30 countries in New York.
Gul will also attend Eurasia summit which will be held in New York Grand Hyatt Hotel on September 24. Gul who will address the General Assembly of U.N. on September 26 is expected to hold a press conference on September 27.
The U.N. General Assembly will focus on security, fight against terrorism, U.N. reform and situation in Iraq.
