U.S. Ambassador In Greek Cypriot Side Visits Guzelyurt Mayor

LEFKOSA - U.S. Ambassador in Greek Cypriot side Michael Klosson visited on Wednesday Mahmut Ozcinar, the Mayor of Guzelyurt.
Ozcinar gave a letter to Klosson saying that they were against giving Guzelyurt to the Greek Cypriots in order to reach an agreement on the island.
Klosson said that his country was determined to solve Cyprus issue but a solution should not bring back the days before 1974.
He would inform necessary authorities about concerns of Ozcinar, Klosson noted.
Klosson said that it would be good if those concerns were responded by international community and if they were taken up in talks.
