ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister said on Tuesday that the European Union (EU) had not given a good test on considering KADEK a terrorist organization.
Gul returned from Georgia to Turkey. Recalling that the EU, which considered HAMAS a terrorist organization, did not include KADEK in list of terrorist organizations, Gul said, ''the EU hasn't given a good test on this issue. I am sure that it will be aware of this and take a decision we expect.''
When he was recalled about statement of U.S. State Secretary Colin Powell who said that Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and Iraqi Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) had some uneasiness about Turkey's dispatch of soldiers to Iraq, Gul said that Kurds in Iraq were not only represented by these two parties and that there were some other parties.
Gul said, ''we know that these two parties have different views, but this doesn't change anything.''
