ANKARA - Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee came to Ankara for an official visit on Tuesday.
Vajpayee, who will start his meetings on Wednesday, will firstly meet with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Two prime ministers will sign a number of agreements.
Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee will be received by Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc and meet with Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
Vajpayee will go to Istanbul after attending a ceremony to be held on Thursday to name a street for Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore.
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will receive Vajpayee in Istanbul.
Vajpayee will depart from Turkey on Friday.
