Turkey And Northern Cyprus Sign Additional Cooperation Protocol In Health

LEFKOSA - Health Ministry and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Health and Social Aid Ministry on Tuesday signed an additional cooperation protocol to further strengthen current cooperation agreement.
TRNC Health and Social Aid Minister Mustafa Arabacioglu and Health Ministry Undersecretary Necdet Unuvar signed the additional cooperation protocol. Technical delegations between the two countries also participated in the ceremony.
The additional protocol envisages establishment of heart and vein surgery center in Dr. Burhan Nalbantoglu State Hospital in Lefkosa. The center is expected to start giving service in the New Year the latest.
Speaking before signing of the protocol, Arabacioglu said cooperation between the two health ministries was improving day by day.
Arabacioglu said studies about the infrastructure of the center continued, stating that technical preparations about the necessary equipment were completed.
