Powell: There Is Serious Sensitivity To Turkish Troops In Iraq

AH- U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, who met with Kurdish authorities in Halabja of Iraq, went to Kuwait. Powell said in his statement in Kuwait that, despite the sensitivities of Iraqis, U.S. and Turkey would continue to negotiate about sending Turkish soldiers to Iraq.
Powell said that, during his Halabja visit he asked from Jalal Talabani, leader of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), and Mesud Barzani, leader of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), to be open minded about that matter.
