ANKARA - Indian Prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee will officially visit Ankara on Tuesday.
Vajpayee is scheduled to visit Anitkabir, Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of Modern Turkish Republic on Wednesday, and meet with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan the same day.
The two prime ministers will sign a series of agreement and hold a joint news conference.
The guest minister is expected to be received by Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc. He will also meet with Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
On Thursday, Vajpayee will participate in a ceremony in Ankara before proceeding to Istanbul. Name of Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore will be given to an Avenue in Ankara in the ceremony.
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will receive Vajpayee in Istanbul.
Vajpayee is expected to depart from Turkey on Friday.
