ANKARA - Poland is interested in both the Nabucco project which envisages transportation of Caspian and Iranian natural gas to Europe, and Samsun-Ceyhan crude oil pipeline project, said Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler on Thursday.
After meeting Polish Parliament Speaker Marek Jurek in his office in Ankara, Guler told reporters that the Nabucco project has been speeded up after a declaration was signed by five ministers from the concerned countries.
With this project, Turkey will be the fourth channel providing natural gas to Europe, following Russia, Norway and Algeria, he said.
According to Guler, Poland is willing to invest in nuclear energy projects in Turkey.
On the other hand, Jurek said that they have seen that some concrete steps have been taken in Nabucco project.
