ISTANBUL - Iraqi FM Hoshyar Zebari inaugurated the Iraqi Consulate General in Istanbul`s Yenikoy neighborhood on Wednesday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Zebari said, ``we have taken a small step in improving Turkish-Iraqi relations.``
Zebari, who arrived in Ankara on Monday, met Turkish FM Abdullah Gul, and was received by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara.
