ISTANBUL - Turkish GSM operator Turkcell withdrew from the Egyptian GSM auction, a statement by the company said.
Sending a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB), Turkcell said that the company had decided earlier to join the third GSM auction to be held in Egypt.
``We joined the auction, but then decided to withdraw from it after we reviewed our business plans,`` it added.
