ANKARA - ``Syrian President Bashar al-Asad stated that they are ready to fulfil their obligations regarding a solution to the escalating tension between Palestine and Israel,`` Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan`s spokesman Akif Beki said on Tuesday.
Releasing a statement, Beki noted that Erdogan sent his chief adviser Prof. Dr. Ahmet Davutoglu to Syrian capital of Damascus within the framework of initiatives, launched to overcome the recent Palestinian-Israeli dispute.
``Davutoglu, who met al-Asad, relayed Erdogan`s special message. And, al-Asad said they are ready to fulfil their obligations, and supported Erdogan`s efforts,`` he added.
