DIYARBAKIR - The prosecutor`s office in southeastern city of Diyarbakir has demanded Diyarbakir Mayor Osman Baydemir be convicted and sought imprisonment from 5 years up to 10 years for him.
The indictment prepared by the prosecutor`s office and submitted to the court includes remarks of Baydemir in support of the terrorist organization on March 28th, 2006.
During incidents in Diyarbakir that broke out after funeral of four terrorists, Baydemir said, ``we share your grief.``
Prosecutor seeks a prison sentence from five years up to ten years for Baydemir on charges of supporting terrorist organization intentionally.
