ANKARA - ''We are advancing on our path. We will continue our monetary policy and fiscal discipline with determination,'' said Turkish State Minister and Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan.
In his statement published in Turkey Bulletin of Justice & Development Party (AKP), Babacan noted that there could be fluctuations in outward-oriented economies at any time. ''Turkish economy is the one integrated into global economy. There are some rules of playing in the global league.''
''Parameters of economy have changed. It is not possible to define Turkish economy with old-fashioned concepts. We have an economic structure based on a sound ground. We have made important works like structural reforms,'' Babacan added.
