Number Of Tourists Who Come To Mugla By Seaway Increases By 9.4 Percent

MUGLA - Mugla Tourism Directorate said on Saturday that the number of tourists who came to western Mugla province which had the longest coast lines of Turkey by seaway increased by 9.4 percent in the eight months of this year when compared to last year.
Speaking to A.A correspondent, Mugla tourism officials said that 226,122 tourists came to Mugla in the eight months of this year, adding that the number was 206,620 in the same period last year. Tourists particularly come to Bodrum, Marmaris, Datca, Fethiye towns.
Officials added that totally 16,000 yachts (half of them carrying the flags of foreign countries) visited Mugla province each year and a revenue of 700 trillion liras was achieved from yacht tourism.
