Atalay Represents Turkey In Unofficial Meeting Of European Ministers Responsible For Media

SIRACUSA - The unofficial meeting of European ministers responsible for media is starting in Siracusa, Italy.
State Minister Besir Atalay represents Turkey in the meeting.
Atalay was accompanied by the Supreme Board of Radio and Television (RTUK) Chairman Fatih Karaca and Prime Ministry Office Press and Information Director General Abdurrahman Bilgic.
The agenda items will be taken up in the conference which will be held at Maniace Castle in Siracusa on Saturday.
Atalay will make speeches in the sessions of conference.
Turkey's showing great attention to participation in activities which are held in the European Union (EU) term president Italy shows its determination in full membership target. Turkey contributes to forming common policies in EU by attending such meetings. These meetings are also important as they give the opportunity to Turkish ministers to have bilateral contacts with their EU member courterparts.
The meeting will end on Sunday.
