U.S. And Turkish Technical Delegations To Convene In Ankara In Coming Weeks

ANKARA - Turkish and U.S. technical delegations will convene in Ankara in coming weeks to discuss the details of cooperation on fight against terrorism.
Foreign Ministry stated on Friday that Turkish and American delegations confirmed the determination of two countries on fight against terrorism and held open and sincere meetings within the scope of close cooperation the same day.
``The meetings are the first step of the process which is started jointly on elimination of PKK/KADEK terrorist organization from the north of Iraq,`` noted the statement.
The statement said that a technical meeting on the details of the cooperation between the two countries would be held in Ankara in coming weeks.
