BAGHDAD - At least two people were killed and seven wounded in a car bomb attack in southern Baghdad Sunday, an interior ministry official said.
The bomb went off at about 8:00 am (0400 GMT) at a road intersection in Baghdad`s Karradha district.
The latest attack comes a day after a car bombing in the capital`s Shiite district of Sadr City left 66 people dead and about 100 others wounded, despite a heavy security clampdown in the capital for the past three weeks.
