Gul Expresses His Condolences Over Death Of Lindh

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul on Thursday expressed his condolences over death of Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh, and stated that Lindh was a person feeling a sympathy for Turkey.
Gul told reporters that Lindh visited Turkey often, noting that she had appreciated recent developments in Turkey. He said Lindh made an official invitation to him to visit her country.
When asked whether or not he would participate in her funeral, Gul said they have already heard about her demise, and his participation was not clear yet.
