ATHENS - Cyprus problem cannot be solved by blackmail, Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said on Saturday.
In an interview with the Greek weekly economy newspaper ``Kozmos Tu Ependiti`` (The World of Investors), Gul noted that Turkey and Greece should contribute to solution of Cyprus problem.
On the possibility that Turkey may face a crisis in its negotiations with the EU if it does not open its ports and airports to the Greek Cypriot administration, Gul said, ``I don`t think so. We are good willed, and it is obvious. The EU should find out what to do with this problem, because we don`t want a unilateral solution. But I`m sure the problem may be overcome. There is need for confidence-building measures.``
``We do not return any method which will contribute to a solution``, Gul said when commenting on the Aegean issue.
